Siberian filmmaker based in New York

I grew up in a small town in Western Siberia. During my school years I spent every summer at my grandparents house helping to take care of their little garden and a few chickens. That rural area significantly shaped my cinematographic style.

In 2015 I moved to Philadelphia, PA and completed my BA in Film and Media Arts with focus in directing and post-production. I’ve produced several projects in different genres: satire, sci-fi, documentary and music video. In my senior year I worked as an editor at a local video production company.

I’m a visual artist and in my work I always aim to show vs. tell. My film aesthetic is heavily influenced by filmmakers from Northern Europe such as Lars von Trier, Ruben Östlund, Charlie Brooker and Andrey Zvyagintsev.
